Does anyone have a recommendation for the best pet to have for mid 20's (horde side) for Solo and PvPing? What & Why please.
Im currently using Ishamuhale (the named Quest raptor) and he seems to do alright, but im wondering if there isnt something better out there?
Thanks!

Well, as you know, aside from some special abilities it really comes down to preference after you choose either a defensive or offensive pet. Don't forget the following resources: petopia.brashendeavors.net/www.goodintentionsguild.info/hunters.htmlThe wind serpents in Thousand Needles are cool, more offensive, and they get swoop (or is it 'dive'?) and lightning strike, so like a cat they can chase down prey, and the lightning is a nice dps bonus. I am not sure if the naga on the beach in Southshore are tameable but Hunters like those also, for the ranged/damage over time poison spit they have. <edit - Naga are not tameable! it is the Serpents I am thinking of, like the ones you can tame in Wailing Caverns)What kind of thing are you looking for?

I have always enjoyed finding the hardest pet to tame at my level. For instance on my dwarf hunter, I tamed the Rake at level 14 and on my current troll hunter I have an owl. If that sounds like fun for you, in redridge mountains there is a named boar (Bellygrub- level 24). I am a fan of boars for all around utility and especially pvp. He might be a fun pet to tame and then also a great asset. Boars are great for pvp because of their charge. It can really help get the jump. Otherwise, you can't really go wrong with a cat. I also agree with Klinka, petopia is a great resource!

My goal with finding my pets has always been to find ant tame the rarest pets out there. Petopia has helped me find several of the pets i have tamed in the past. Right now i have Death Flayer as a pet for two reasons. One he was rare with the gray dragon when i caught him and two i have been told the scorpids are one of the best pets for pvp more for the higher leavels thought. As far as raptors go i never really liked them even thought the rank second to cats for offensive pets. But since the new patches have came out giving them the ability to learn dash they may be better than before. For soloing I prefer a pet with a lot of armor like a turtle of a crock. I havn't really done a lot of pvping with my hunter in the past, this is why i came to deathwing. But cats may be the best for your leavel . I have a leavle 70 hunter on Zul'jin. I don't claim to be and expert but i love to help people out so drop me a line if u have any questions.
