We have it on good suggestion that when a quest reads 'Failed' that the quest can be 'abandoned' then picked up from the last NPC (non-Player character) seen. If the quest was an escort quest, the NPC being escorted should re-spawn.
A note about escort quests: Consider having the lower levels walk beside and behind and a higher level (or 2) clear the way ahead. Ideally, 1 clears ahead, 1 escorts beside with and eye towards the escorts health, and a healer follows behind to 'clean-up' if need be and heal both the escorted NPC and the group as needed.
Also a note to party members: healers take a beating in terms of mana and group expectations. Healers are not miracle workers. When you ask for a 'rez' understand that it costs the healer Silver as well as mana -Druids need to carry and pay for seeds, warlocks pay a soul0shard, other classes are charged similarly with what is earned and not free. So, protect those healers! We love out tanks, but we love our healers, too!
Any comments are appreciated!

Not everytime a quest is "Failed" do you have to abandon it. Sometimes the quest NPC will reset you and you can simply speak to them again to try over. It depends on the quest.
