I am starting a weekly TwoFold night for Battlegrounds. Its a great diversion from the normal grinding but you can earn great rewards for playing! I hope to alternate battlegrounds each week, but will start with Warsong Gulch this wednesday and go from there!! I will post more info about Battlegrounds in the appropriate section. Use this thread to ask questions and discuss!

Excellent idea. Only problem here is that the guild's 30 somethings are really the only ones that can join in this party due to the Rule of Nines. The 40s are too low, in general, to enjoy this FOR NOW, but it would be a good way to groom those 30s for later. Their experience could make Twofold a force in BG's at high 40's. FOR THE ALLIANCE!

"The Rule of 9s" Mith is refering to are the brackets in which you can compete in battlegrounds. They are seperated by character levels (so you dont try to fight against lvl 70s all day long). They are borken up like so: lvl 10-19 lvl 20-29 lvl 30-39 lvl 40-49 etc etc. Ideally, to get the most out of Battlegrounds without getting slaughtered is to be in the "9s" (ie. lvl 19, 29, 39, 49 etc). This way you ahve gotten all of your latest skill and spells for that bracet and and last stat increases and talent point. Personnaly I have participated in the 5s through 9s. and you well see players in the 1s and everywhere else too. YOu still earn honor and tokens regardless, plus for those members (im sure there are alot) who havent tried battlegrounds, then no time like the present to begin getting familer with the battlefeilds and strategies. I know we have members scattered everywhere in levels, but those who can group up should, and even those who cant should still play as well and start earning token for gear. Im considering having a contest for whomever can rack up the highest kill count for the week or something to that effect.

Seconded. A group working together in spite of level (even if they only make up a percentage of the overall participants) can wreck some serious damage in BG's! Teamwork is key, and for some reason, the Horde seem to understand this a lot better than the average Alliance BGer....but hopefully, we'll have each other....FOR TWOFOLD!

Klinka, The Horde raid officer for TwoFold, has posted a Warsong Gulch Strategy guide. Because of the new interested in doing guild battlegrounds, I am linking it here for everyone to read it. It was written with the lvl 10-19 bracket in mind, and of course the battleground dynamics change with each bracket becuase of new class abilities, but it should serve as a good guide to start us out. twofold.proboards53.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=battle&thread=1175720379&page=1

Im trying to mix it up some. Last week was Warsong Gulch, This week will be Arathi Basin. Remember, It doesnt matter if you have the flight path access or not since you can join battlegrounds from the battle masters in each major city anyways. You only need to go to the Battlegrounds post when you have earned enough tokens and honor to turn it in for new gear/weapons/armor.

First time I saw this. Viraja is 27 - and loving Warsong Gulch, with the Shadow Wolf speed advantage. If we have any 20s that want to go, let me know.
