First and Foremost, TwoFold exists to have fun together. Arguments and grief over loot should be avoided at all times. The goal is to upgrade the Guild as a whole, and we should always try to make sure another Guildie has the items they need.
With that said, please do not begin an instance without being clear on the following loot rules. The rules exist to avoid the headaches and ill-feeling that can develop from misunderstandings about who should receive what.
The Rules
Loot type will be set to Group Loot.
There are three kinds of loot in an instance:
Personal Loot
Bind on Equip (BoE)
Bind on Pickup (BoP)
Personal Loot
Is what drops for your character. Please pick it all up. Even if it is grey. You can dump it or hand it off to a player with room in his bags later if neccessary. We don't want 'sparkles' left behind making us wonder if we missed something. This also eliminates racing to loot left by another player, and who should be entitled to it.
BoE
Roll Greed on all Bind on Equip items, (click the gold nugget, not the dice) unless it is an upgrade for the character in the instance. If you win an item after a Need roll, (clikcing the dice) you will be expected to link your current item in party chat, and to equip the new item (or explain why you are not; 'I want to put an armor kit on it', 'I want to get it enchanted first').
The party should remain open to discussion about trading an item that is BoE, if a player shows they need the item and it is an upgrade after all, but rolled Greed by mistake. It is the perogative of the player who won the item to trade it, but again, we encourage upgrading as a Guild, not just as an individual.
BoP
EVERYONE MUST PASS (X or close the window) on ALL Bind on Pickup items. We will then discuss who needs it. Class considerations, and ability bonuses on the item will be taken into account. Showing it is a true upgrade by linking your item in chat will be necessary. Once we establish who Needs it those players with /roll. Highest score wins, and that player may then pick up the item. CHEER! GRATZ!
If noone needs the BoP. All other players may /roll. Highest wins, pick it up and vendor it. If you wish to pass on any item at this point, type /roll 1. You will roll a 1 and we will know you have passed.
Other Rules
DO NOT LOOT until the battle is done. We do not want anyone making hurried decisions because the loot timer is ticking down, while in the midst of battle. Once all adds are dead, feel free to bend down and loot.
In higher level instances, with Set items, only 1 set item per attendee will be allowed, unless there is no other player that needs it. Valuable profession drops and quest items that drop frequently in an instance will be rotated on a turn basis.
Gatherers (Herbs/Miners/Skinners) will be determined at the beginning of the run, and will rotate on a turn basis after rolling to determine turn order.
I think that covers it. Feel free to give input. Remember, we are here to have fun! This is not real money or real stuff, please keep the Guild goal of helping each other out and having a good time in mind throughout.
However, anyone who repeatedly violates the above rules will be asked to explain their actions and appropriate disciplinary measures will be determined by the Guild Leader and the High Council.
