TwoFold Guild Guidelines – Overview
I. Conduct
II. Group/Raid Conduct
III. Recruitment
IV. Alt Characters
V. Removals
VI. [TF] Rank Structure
I. Conduct
As the Guild Charter states, TwoFold is basically a guild out to have dependable, trustworthy, and mature guild mates to help each other and have fun without the rigorous pressures of maintaining individual/server wide guild status. In lieu of our charter, we also have a few rules of conduct mentioned below.
[1.] We expect everyone to treat one another with courtesy, respect, and a degree of maturity.
[2.] Many guild guidelines are based on the honor system. Anyone abusing this system will be removed.
[3.] Our guild is not for personal gain. TwoFold is NOT a house for those incessantly seeking “phat loot” or “hook ups” around the clock to better themselves, yet does not provide any assistance to the guild. Guild mates get as much as they put in.
[4.] TwoFold falls under the clause “Need before Greed.”
[5.] Currently, there are no requirements to maintain levels. However, please note the challenging nature of lower leveled characters trying to join guild groups/raids. (*subject to change as guild grows)
[6.] Currently, there are no guild membership fees*.
[7.] Harassment is not tolerated. Period. Any reported forms of harassment is cause for removal.
[8.] TwoFold does not accept "griefers" and/or botters of any kind. Griefers include stealing mobs, harvesting nodes all ready being harvested, and being an all around annoyance. Any reported forms of griefing and botting are cause for removal.
II. Group/Raid Conduct
Guildmates and recruits are expected to follow the instructions of the designated group/raid leader. This is not to hinder game play or gaming style, but to ensure organization and safety.
The first priority of group members is the safety and livelihood of the group. At no time should any group members purposely endanger or compromise the group.
These guidelines also apply to TwoFold members in non-guild groups/raids. While in a non-guild group, members are representing [TF]. Therefore, take pride and make [TF] shine by behaving properly in such situations.
III. Recruitment
Those interested in joining TwoFold, may do so by conducting the following:
[1.] Read, accept, and adhere to the Guild Charter and Guild Guidelines.
[2.] Apply via the Recruitment Office Forum and speak to a guild leader, officer, or member in game.
[3.] Once the above has been met, players will be accepted into the guild as recruits.
[4.] All recruits will be required to go through a two-week trial period, in which, the guild will have an opportunity to assess and evaluate the recruit to ensure quality and suitability.
[5.] During the trial period, the recruit will be required to group with the guild leader and/or at least one officer and any number of guild members.
[6.] Upon completion of the two-week trial period, the recruit will be promoted to member or removed from the guild dependent upon guild majority vote.
IV. Alt Characters
TwoFold allows alts into the guild as long as the following is met:
1. You've been (preferably active) in the guild for a minimum of 3 months. (This is negotiable per the discretion of the Guild Leader and/or High Council).
2. Alts must be logged in (active) at least once within 90 days -- any alts that remain stagnant passed the 90 day mark can possibly be removed. (Note: the High Council or I will discuss such instances directly with the 'main' character prior to removal. Second Note: this does NOT mean we are expecting level requirements - we simply want activity versus "dead" characters in our roster
3. As always, when alts are invited into the guild, the "note" in the guild window must mention your main character's name in there somewhere. Example: "Faethful's Alt" or "Faethfull's Bank".
Note: Alts are reserved for [TF] members, not recruits. Ranking titles are given to main characters only.
V. Removals
Removal of members from the guild is done at the full discretion of the TwoFold guild leader and its officers.
[1.] Fully enlisted [TF] guild members who have not logged into the game for over 90 days in a row WILL be removed from the guild.
Note: Leave of absence for personal reasons are completely acceptable. But, as a courtesy to the guild and the guild leadership, any members who are unable to log for an extended period of time are asked to inform the guild leadership via email, a post in the guild forums, or a /tell or /g in game. Otherwise, the guild leadership will assume the member has "moved on" for whatever reasons and will be removed.
[2.] Fully enlisted TwoFold guild members, who voluntarily leave the guild for any “negative/hostile” reasons, must re-apply (as mentioned in section VII of this document) and go through another two-week trial period and evaluation/assessment process.
Note: re-applying under these circumstances is entirely dependent upon pre-approval by the guild leader and its officers.
[3.] Fully enlisted TwoFold guild members who leave for personal reasons and/or leaves the guild in good standing and would like to rejoin the guild, may or may not be asked by the guild leadership to re-apply, as described in section VII of this document, before being granted full membership.
IX. TwoFold Rank Structure
After some consideration, the TwoFold Ranking Structure is detailed below. In time, I hope that this structure proves effective and beneficial for TwoFold.
If you are a member in good standing on one of the two servers (Deathwing or RavenCrest) and wish to create a character on the other, you may automaticaly become a member in TwoFold on the other server. The same applies to recruits. If a recruit is in their two week trial, they may also become a recruit on the other server is they wish and avoid the application process a second time.
1. Leader = Blkbeard (Deathwing), Saltysurfer (RavenCrest)
2. High Council =Gunnk, Belfy (Deathwing), Abbrah, Sturmmacher, Aelna, Hoyt (RavenCrest)
The High Council use to be known as the Officers. Those in the High Council are determined by Blkbeard/Saltysurfer (depending on server). High Councilors work closely with the Guild Leader in all matters regarding the TwoFold membership and guild allies.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: recruiting applicants, grouping with recruits for assessment, promoting recruits, providing council on guild topics, maintaining the 'peace' between members, moderating the guild forums, leading raids, and generally assisting the Guild Leader in guild related matters.
3. Raid Officer = Klinka (Deathwing), Mithrac (RavenCrest)
The Raid Officer is determined by Blkbeard/Saltysurfer (depending on server). with the advisement of the High Council. The Raid Officer would work closely with the Guild Leader. Raids are considered any events that require at least 2 groups (6+ players) to complete.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: researching, planning, and leading guild events/raids
4. Champion = Champions are chosen by the High Council to represent their chosen class. The Champion displays great knowledge of their class and a willingness to help other [TF] members of the same class in becoming better
5. Co-Founder = This is the rank reserved for any TwoFold original founding members. Besides the original 9 sign-up's, this rank cannot be attained by anyone else. A Co-Founder can be promoted to Raid Officer or High Council position.
• One of the original 9 signers on the Guild Charter.
6. Veteran = This is the highest rank any member can attain within the guild aside from a leadership position.
• 12 months (1 year) as a member of TwoFold (only available to Main characters, not alts)
7. Member = This rank represents all full members of TwoFold
• Successfully pass the 2-week recruitment period
8. Alt = This rank is reserved for alts. Only active members of TwoFold can have up to 3 alts in the guild.
0. Banker =Reserved for the guild bank character(s) as prescribed by the use of the Duckie Bank mod which TwoFold is currently using.
10. Recruit = Individuals must apply by posting an application in the TwoFold Guild Forums. Any applicants requesting an invitation in-game *MUST* still apply in the guild forum titled the TwoFold Recruitment Office.
